What a great place to stay and visit. We had our x-mas staff party at Big Moose camp and thought the place was clean and owners very attending to our needs. thank You for a great time, for letting our dogs run and we will definitely recommend you to friends and family.

My family and I have been coming here for about 20 years now, we absolutely love it here obviously, or else we wouldn’t come back! Perfect location, great lake, awesome fishing, they have anything you may want or need! Family friendly, pet friendly, this is an amazing place to go!

Stayed here for a snowmobile trip. Highly recommend it. Location is ideal to access trails. Cabins are warm and well appointed. Henry is a fantastic host. We will be back!

Absolutely AMAZING!!!! Just incredible Cabin was clean, ppl who own it Ray and Shelley are great ppl who work extremely hard to provide a fantastic experience and that's what I had with my family!!!!! Just cant wait to come back in 2020 and probably for every year til I get my own cottage!!!!!!

I found the camp to be clean and very well maintained,. Ray and Shelley were phenomenal hosts who took care of everything that was needed. Has all the amenities, old school style, horse shoes, mini golf, boating and fishing. Had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.

This camp has excellent service, very hard working owners that actually care and make you feel extremely welcomed. The cabin we stayed in was beautiful and there was a nice ice fishing hut with a wood stove in it included in our trip. Definitely plan to come back because they have been absolutely exceptional and gone over and above with everything. If looking for a peaceful slower paced refreshing trip would definitely suggest big moose camp. Great for family, friends, and exceptionally clean cabins.

The owner ray and his wife are super accommodating and outgoing people. The cottage we had was super cozy and well kept. And the prices are more than reasonable. Thanks ray for renting us cottage #1 had an amazing stay and hopefully we will see you in the near future.

Our fishing group were very impressed by the clean cabin and spacious ice huts. Ray and Shelley are very caring towards their guests and are both very hard working at making sure your stay is enjoyable. Fishing was slow but as any fisherman knows, there are never any guarantees. Some years are better than others. Regardless we had an excellent time and would recommend this camp.

Great Family run operation. Caught 50-60 Perch Ice Fishing over 3 days mid season ice. Cabins are clean and have most things you need for cooking and BBQ. Our Dog loved it too. May go back with the Bass Boat in September.

Just spent a few days at Big Moose Camp, and had a fantastic time. I took my two kids up for some "social distancing" while catching the latter days of the ice-fishing season, and all of us loved the place. The cottage was right on the lake's edge, with a beautiful view of the rising sun. It was very clean inside, and had everything we needed. The cottage had a large deck that you could sit on and watch the kids playing out on the ice (it was still 30" thick in late March!). The 11-year old caught a 14" walleye and was thrilled. The hosts were very accommodating and couldn't have treated us better. We'll be back in the warmer months, but also next winter when it's ice-fishing time again!! Thanks Big Moose!!

Shelly and Ray are two of the hardest working people we’ve ever met! Our family spent a week at the camp. Spread over a cottage and a trailer, each impeccably clean and ready upon our arrival. The staff are friendly, accommodating and even asking us if we need a top-up on fire wood every few days. We rented a kayak and a paddle board, each brought right to the water for us less than an hour after we requested it! Our family checked out and we are already planning next years return! Thanks everyone at Big Moose Camp!!

We had a really memorable Christmas vacation at Big Moose Camp. Shelly and Ray are amazing hosts and run the place with attention to every little detail. The cottages are super clean and cozy, everything works, and the lake view is gorgeous. We rent cottages often and were pleasantly surprised with this level of quality and comfort for the fare price charged. Our kids cleared an ice strip on the lake from snow and went skating there at night with lights and music, then were getting warm at the fire under huge beautiful pine trees. Unforgettable.

my family has been going up to big moose for 16 years. The kids love the water and the water raft. The water is very warm and peaceful in the summer. ray and shelly treat you like friends not customers. the cabins are very cozy and have a very strong cottage vibe. the kids also love playing manhunt at night. I definitely recommend staying there.

We have been coming up to Big Moose for 12 years....and I can't say enough good things about this place. First and foremost, Ray and Shelly are amazing people. It doesn't matter how busy they are...they will stop and talk to you for as long as it takes, always with a smile, and a willingness to help. They treat you like old friends instead of customers and that goes a long way. The cottage is so clean and comfortable. The whole camp is so very well maintained, with Ray constantly on the go. I always say that Ray has two speeds...fast and faster....lol...he never stops, and Shelly is always on top of things. Everything about his camp is positive and if you are going up fishing or going on a family vacation, you can't go to a better place. Thanks Ray and Shelly for everything...it was a perfect vacation. Can't wait to get back there next year!!

How do you add more stars??Shelley and Ray always go above and beyond for their guests! Staff is always friendly as well. We have stayed 2 years now, one in a cabin and one in a trailer. Love love love! The beach and docks are always clean. Plenty of space to relax, walk, swim, boat etc. The lake is amazing! Thanks for another awesome vacation, always hard to leave!
