I remember our first time to Lake Nosbonsing at Big Moose Camp. With my brother and our good friend. We were very impressed with the accommodation's, really high ceiling, nice wood paneling, an a big wrap around porch! Ray is amazing too, always on the move making sure everything is maintained an everyone is alright. We experienced lots of wildlife seeing tons of ducks, loons, deer, and a whole island full of cormorants. Most importantly we came for the fishing which was exciting with lots of perch, a 3lb 9oz LM bass, an a pike. Then on the last morning a 48” Musky smashed my lure! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and have since returned several times. Thanks!

Our group came up to Big Moose Camp last minute this year for some ice fishing after another Resort cancelled on us, and it ended up being amazing. We caught lots of tasty pickerel and pike. The Ice Huts were so warm and nice inside compared to a few other places we have been. Ray is so friendly and helpful and was always on the move making sure everything was perfect for us and all the other guests. Grabbing minnows, getting firewood, lending us cooking sheets...You can tell they actually care about your experience. The cottage we stayed in was incredibly spacious and even had Sattelite TV so we could watch the opening NHL game! We couldn't have asked for a better trip. Definitely returning again next Winter, and maybe Summer if we can get time off work. Thanks Again!

My Husband Kerry and myself have just come home from spending a week up at Big Moose. We cannot say enough good things about our stay. Ray is an unbelievable host. No matter what requests we had, each and every one of them were greeted with enthusiasm and a smile. He never hurried off, but instead, stayed and talked with us as if we were the only guests there. He did this with all of his guests. His helper.. Jordan and one other young man were just as accommodating. We were made to feel like family. The cottages were very clean and comfortable with new appliances. The satellite t.v. was also great to have on those cold rainy nights. We caught a total of 30 pike, two perch, one very fat catfish, and two mussels!! We tried for pickerel, but had no luck with that, maybe next year. We have been to many fishing camps in the past, but we have decided that Big Moose will be our annual trip from now on. Great place, great people and great memories. The sound of the loons at night were amazing. The children that were there had a great time on the beach. If you want a memorable holiday with your family or for fishing, this is the place!!

We were a large group needing three cottages for a group looking to fish and relax. Ray and Shelley were very accommodating providing us with clean cottages, clean lots with beautiful views of the lake. This is the ideal location for family and friends to gather. Thank you for a great May long weekend, we’ll see you next year!

We had a great time at Big Moose Camp. It was exactly what we were looking for, a beautiful & peaceful place to get away from the city. The cottage had a great view of Lake Nosbonsing. Julia

SEND US A TESTIMONIAL!The fishing buddies have been going to Big Moose Camp for the past 18 years. On Monday, May 23rd, 2011 at 4:00 pm, Dan was fishing with Al and Stan. Dan was using an orange 'hatchet' blade spinner with a trailing hook topped with a minnow. He was drifting in 10 feet of water and hit the 8 1/2 pound (30 inch) pickerel. It was a great way to start of week of fishing on Lake Nosbonsing. It was one of several pickerel over 3 pounds that the group of six caughtt.
